Food & service were outstanding, Kira, our server was wonderful and we all had a great time, it was a party of 6 and we ate a ton of Shrimp.
I just thank God Bayport Inn didn't go out of business with the hurricanes. By the grace of God, they are still serving food. This is my favorite restaurant and I gotta tell you the prime ribs are out of this world. I love the gator tail nuggets. I've never ordered anything here that wasn't delicious. I don't like fried calamari, but even the fried calamari was good that my friend had and I asked for a couple more pieces.
Hey everybody, we just went back down to one of our favorite restaurants. Yes, they are reopened. The food is excellent and our server. Rachel made our meal fabulous we highly recommend this restaurant. The prime rib was excellent and all you can eat shrimp cooked perfectly.
Recently reopened after hurricane damage the Bayport Inn is as good as it always has been. Food focuses heavily on seafood fried or broiled, but there are other foods for those who don't enjoy seafood. The place is very casual, there is indoor or outdoor dining available and outdoors they usually have good live music. I recently had the soft shell crab sandwich which is one of the best anywhere and not found in a lot of restaurants. It is also available as a dinner. The wait staff is friendly and efficient whenever I have been in there. My only complaint is vegetables are always over cooked so stay away from them. The salad, coleslaw, fries, onion ring and hush puppies are very good.
What a totally wonderful experience! Service was awesome. Marianne was fantastic. Very enjoyable restaurant. The food and wine were delicious and plentiful. The ambiance is super casual, family oriented, and old Florida. Nice view outside if you choose with live music. Inside comfortably air conditioned. Free parking. Highly recommend!
